1. A WINTER TALE 3'16"
Outside in the pouring rain, the distant world was grey
by the fireplace his boots, in the house among the holly woods
he put his ear on the shell in his hand, then his sleepy head spoke
”…the sails drank the wind like milk, the moon swam as light as silk…”
and through the mist of the valley at his feet a mountain lake opened its eyelid

2. A GOOD REASON TO GO 4'22"
No reason to stay is a good reason to go
The last few words to say, this is an epilogue
When it rains look for the rainbow
and when it's dark look for the star
No reason to stay (stay if you may )
is a good reason to go (go ‘cause you must)
No more words to say (stay if you may )
this is an epilogue

3. GIRLS LOVE POETS 4'31"
Girls love poets, lust and romance
Paul Verlaine, Charles Baudelaire
The freethinker Lucifer
Girls love poets, willing learners
Deep in the night they dwell alone
The moonlight shakes them to the bone
Girl love poets and tender moments
When soon they're bound to a childhood ground
Huge yet lost and no more found
Girls love poets and theatre goers
Storytellers you and me
Just like honey to the bee
Girls love poets, girls love crooners
Who bite and itch their juicy peach
Cool yet gone and out of reach
They wear their heart on their skin
But cannot hide the hell within

4. SHUT NOT YOUR DOOR 5'05"
Shine on my love, my love shine on
Shine on my love, cast your dancing shadow
Shine on my love, my love shine on
Shine on my love, shut not your door
It's alright (it can't go wrong)
It's alright (it can't go wrong)
shut not your door
It's alright (it can't go wrong)
It's alright (it can't go wrong)
shut not your door
shine on, shine on, shine on, shine on

5. SILENT CALLING 3'48"
I know why captive birds sing
cage or prison, love or reason, twins in my vision
and I know why silent boys dream of the shanty dandy of the Magdalen
the night I met the balladeer was insincere
far or near I just couldn’t make clear
the smoke of my cigarette, hallucinated acrobat
imaginary smile that made me smile, surprised to be alive
I know what lies are for
but strange to tell these secret lines of winged words of light
wasted days and serenades for passing strangers
the sin was mine, I did not understand
it was morbid indecency, boulevards and vaudeville
the green hour, the unreal I adore, the unborn star child
*
6. MALICE 4'46"
A virgin love forever, her soft voice like a feather
this tale of us a thread of grey, a floating leaf up in the air
I kiss her at the heavens’ gate, the starless night is yet so late
like a swan she bends her neck, opens her blouse, I find the crack
our daring lips, my fingertips, her alabaster curvy hips
arsenal of arts where malice leaves its marks
her heart so near, the beats I hear, her cranny nook, I dare not look
naked in this hush, I know she veils her blush
my beating blood rushing like mad, gone is now the last restraint
not to blame, not innocent, I’m lost, my mood swings
she blows my mind and fucks my brain
I’m a branch in the flame, burned by desire, my life is on fire
my teen queen rules in my daydream
her female body is my duty, she moves in beauty
*
7. OUT OF THE BLUE 4'09"
Placid clouds of vapour wool, slowly rising April moon
just too fool not to be cool, deja-vu, out of the blue
stars like pretty little girls dangling their legs and curls
under shades of blooming grapes, a mouthful of rhymes, a hunger for life
a quite unnecessary lair, daydream on a rocking chair
follow me so far away, my rambling thoughts won’t let me stay
a pocketful of poetry, a transparent epiphany
a thunderstorm and in the middle the grave and the cradle, the thread and the needle
I feel it deep under my skin, sometimes I wish I had wings
heartily and softly and tenderly, will you carry me? Will you shelter me?

8. THE BOY ECSTATIC 7'10"
I’ve seen the invisible and the undone, the promised dawn at sundown
I’ve seen redemption after crime, the promised Spring in wintertime
I’ve seen the sky growing dark, the moon bending her arc
I’ve heard clarions and larks in wet marshes, in night sparks
I’ve seen lizards and rattlesnakes, pebbles and ash-flakes
a dragonfly, a unicorn, a flying fish, a jackal
I’ve seen caged beasts freed, locomotives at full speed
I’ve seen kites in the sunlight, flames in the twilight
I’ve seen the wide open ocean, the planets in motion
the simple soul, the heart of gold, the silly vanity of all
I’ve read Melville and I’ve dreamt of a vessel sailing
bound to the lighthouse island somewhere in Britain or Ireland
I’ve read the bloody Macbeth and the Paradise Lost
I’ve seen seven sisters, an hour-glass and clockworks
I’ve learnt algebra and geometries and I’ve dreamt of my metamorphosis
my nerves like roots sucking blood from every vein
I’ve seen the tracks of cranes on the pond’s clay
I’ve learnt the language of sands and its alphabet of gold
I’ve encompassed the whole world
its maps and kingdoms, safe and sound from sorrows
I’ve seen demons and scarecrows
I’ve smelled the soil after the rain and I’ve felt a strange kind of pain
I’ve met a man without a name in a bruise-like sort of shame
I’ve heard a call for perfection and its obvious rejection
I’ve seen a red carnation, doom and salvation
I’ve read revolution as love in reverse
I’ve heard a wailing saxophone and a dreaming verse
A hatful of silence, a handful of solitude
the wisdom of second chance, moments of beatitude
I’ve learnt to see the unapparent wind
when trees are shaken and leaves are trembling
I’ve dreamt of the child that is father of the man
a firefly in the palm of his hand
the darkness torn asunder, fetching it to me with full wonder
I’ve dreamt of Endymion under the old oak
and a cripple dancer in a ragged cloak
I’ve heard questions for philosophers, puzzles solved with ease
I’ve learnt that wars begin in the minds of men
so it’s there we should defend peace
Is it man that is God-made or God that is man-made?
brother with sly brother, mother with queer mother
whispering to each other
Lunatic, amnesiac, insomniac
Ecstatic, magnetic, maniac

9. NUBIAN SUN 4'50"
Immaculate shirt I have none, but glowing eyes like burning coal
clouds sail along, birdsong, still the riddle remains unsolved
led astray, the world dies away
homesick and lost when I need you most, stardust like falling snow
don’t loosen your hand, dreamland, I’m a drowning man clung to a straw
now warm me Nubian sun
